Regatta Coffee Morning 2004 « · »

21/07/04 Port Navas: A respite from the unseasonably poor weather and a great turnout combined to make a very successful coffee morning in aid of the Port Navas Regatta. The bric a brac stall was very successful – thank you all for your contributions!  T-shirts and baseball caps featuring the new logo sold briskly and there was a well supported raffle. All in all, a great morning.

Port Navas Trek 2004 « · »

25/04/04 Port Navas: About thirty walkers took part in the Port Navas Trek, an annual sponsored walk in aid of Save The Children.  The first group assembled in front of the Save The Children Shop before setting off on the trek.

The ten mile route took the intrepid walkers via Trewince Lane and Drift into Mawnan Smith, then on to Rosemullion Head and round the coast path back to Durgan where they enjoyed an alfresco lunch on the beach and a moment to bask in the brilliant sunshine. Returning via Helford Passage they were back at the Port Navas Village Hall in time for tea and cake.
