Village Hall 10th Birthday Party « · »

There was a splendid turn out to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Village Hall and to open the beautiful new bridge connecting the hall to Pope’s Garden. The bridge is a gift from the Tanner Trust and Lucie Nottingham spoke of their support for community projects and their connection with the village hall from the very beginning. Jim Boote paid tribute to Tom Cross who had been the driving force in the acquisition of the hall and to all those who had helped to make it such a success over the years.

Our new bridge « · »

Our new bridge reached completion on 5th March. It looks wonderful, thanks to the Tanner Trust and skilled work of Simon and Rob. The official opening is on Friday 22nd March at 6.30pm, when we will be celebrating the Hall’s 10th Birthday.

The photos of the bridge under construction are by Jeremy Pedersen. Thanks Jeremy.
