Soup Kitchen #1

The hall was full to capacity today when for the first time we ran a Soup Kitchen.  There were homemade soups on offer, all served with crusty bread.  The rain did not stop customers from coming to sample carrot and coriander, cauliflower and cheddar cheese or leek and watercress soups. Pat Cross was the head chef and maître D’ for this week.  Next week there will be different soups, so do come along on Wednesday 29th February at 12.30.
